Belgian Annual King’s Day celebration in Islamabad

The annual traditional King’s Day was celebrated on 15 November in dozens of Belgian missions across the world, including in Pakistan. The celebrations took place at the Ambassador’s residence in Islamabad. Members of the Belgian community in Pakistan, colleagues and friends from the Government of Pakistan – including Chief Guest Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs – business and civil society, as well as the diplomatic corps enjoyed the evening with Belgian food, Belgian music and a festive black-yellow-red atmosphere.
15 November is a special day for our Belgian royal family. Since 1866 the day has been marked by celebrations in honour of the Belgian King. Our current King Philippe is the 7th King of the Belgians. His eldest daughter, Crown Princess Elisabeth, is expected to be the first ever Queen of Belgium by birth in the future
